Shares of $F have gone up since the beginning of June. Likely due to the deal with $TSLA to co-opt Tesla Superchargers. They don't strike me as relevant EV competition yet. How do you see it?
They've fallen far behind in electromobility. They are selling most electric models at a loss. I'm sure it will turn around, but it will take time. The competition is very strong.
I like $F because of its history and founder. I'm not otherwise a car connoisseur and I take my own advice on this and so far, unfortunately, Ford doesn't do well in the competition. I have been praised by multiple other brands. But I'm rooting for them. To have the opportunity to buy them maybe in 2020, jeje that would be awesome. 😁
Like, it's not great yet, but they're gradually improving. For example, in Q1 this year, Ford's EV sales rose 41.0% to 10,866 EVs. They still have some catching up to do.
