Unfortunately, I think it will have an effect, it's not that small.
I don't know the company that well. Except here from what I read and honestly the only thing u are considering to this company is going short. Yes, the company is big and some million here and there, but 10 billion. Plus, it's not the only dispute rumored....
It's an intervention, but it's spread over several years. The question is how other lawsuits will turn out, then we can discuss the impact on the company and possibly the dividend.
It is about 10.5 billion in today's prices and in 10 years it could be another 2 billion more and I saw somewhere that it is not evenly distributed and in 2-3 years they should pay almost half of the whole amount. The idea that this won't hurt their CF is wrong in my opinion and I wouldn't be surprised to see a dividend cut.
