Investors, the Fed meets next Wednesday and may well be raising interest rates by 25bps. I don't think it will do much for stocks as I think investors are already counting on it. However, I'm worried about it hitting the banks again.
In the picture we can see the evolution of interest rates.
How do you view the current situation?
Do you think that the Fed will only raise interest rates once, next Wednesday, or twice?
Let them lift, as long as they play straight :)
For me, this is also included in the price and the main market mover next week will be the results of the individual big tech companies. How do you think it will turn out? Positive/negative.
Rates will rise by 25 points, Paul will threaten further increases and say that a rate cut is not in the near term and the stock market will continue to ignore him.
I'd say the hike is already priced into the market. It would be a surprise if it didn't come. I think the main thing is what we're going to be told, what the rhetoric is going to be. Then we'll probably have a better idea.
