Disney $DIS, which owns the ESPN television station, has held initial discussions about strategic partnerships with the NBA and NFL. These partnerships could mean that the sports leagues will acquire an ownership stake in ESPN.

For me, this is a great move and I look forward to seeing the results of their negotiations. An NBA spokesperson said in a statement, "We have a long-standing relationship with Disney and look forward to continuing discussions about the future of our partnership."

Interesting information and I didn't even know about this, however I recently bought $DIS stock and thus this information makes me happy.

I also want to ask, did Disney pay dividends? How do you see it in the future, could Disney management go back to paying out again?

I didn't even know Disney owned a sports station. I like Disney stock and would definitely buy it, at today's prices Disney is down quite a bit. Do you think the fact that they don't release movies like Avengers and the like anymore has an effect on this? After all, those movies used to break records in theaters.

This Disney as I've written several times is a really good stock but needs a lot of time well I don't see it rocketing up anytime soon in the future no doubt about it though and if they reinstate the dividend subsequently 🤷‍♂️ we'll see as I'm rooting for them and buying all the time.

Okay, this could be great for Disney, at least in the US.

Yeah, cool news, I wrote something about this earlier, but it's like 2 months ago that $DIS owns that ESPN station and it's good because of its variety of sports, so cool. 😊
