So it's not just $MSFT that has resorted to a big investment in AI this year in the form of an investment in OpenAI. $AMZN has announced that it will invest up to $4 billion in artificial intelligence startup Anthropic.
As part of the deal, Anthropic will use Amazon's custom chips in its AI software. Amazon then agreed to use its startup partner's technology in its products across its entire business.
How do you view the resulting collaboration?
That's a classic this year... :)
It's great, but if they didn't, they'd probably lose a lot. I'm most curious about $AAPL though, which I think does everything itself and when they introduce it, it'll be a gamechanger.
New market opportunity, for me it's great that these tech giants are investing in new technologies.
I think it's great. In general, I see something new coming up and every big company like this starting to tinker and develop something. Just let there be competition because that drives development.
