UBS analysts earlier this year reaffirmed a rating of "Buy" for Mattel. They note that while Mattel is still betting on investing in content with a low cost of capital, it appears to be taking calculated risks with well-known franchises. This includes low-budget movies or digital investments, which should yield outsized returns.
🔍 Mattel is still looking to leverage the full potential of its portfolio and is at the beginning of a transformation to be more focused on leveraging its well-known brands.
What do you think of this well-known toy manufacturer?
I studied their stock more after the movie Barbie was in theaters. It's an interesting company, but perhaps a slightly outdated business these days. Not for me.
I only know $HAS but even that doesn't appeal to me. But I guess it's a good business.
