The P/E (price/earnings per share) ratio is one of the most well-known ratios that investors use to evaluate stocks. However, nowadays, the aforementioned indicator may not be as important as it used to be.

In your opinion, is the P/E ratio still that important? For example, Tesla stock and others have a high P/E, but is this number still as meaningful? What do you think? Is the P/E still a relevant metric for us as investors? Do you also invest in companies with high P/E?


The P/E ratio to me has a way of verifying whether a company is overpriced or not. However, most growth stocks don't pay attention to P/E at all e.g. $NVDA $TSLA. These companies are completely out of the question for me...
