The new week brings earnings season in full swing, along with important economic indicators. Personally, I'll be focusing on the results Nvidia, Dell, HP a Salesforcewhile macro data like GDP per Q4 and data on PCE inflation will certainly be key to future market direction.

Lowe's $LOW2.1%reported results today . The results weren't terrible, but they certainly weren't positive, as indicated by the 2% drop in the stock. I don't have their stock in my portfolio, but if I had to pick from this sector, I' d choose$HD2.6% stock instead .
The results were in the final sum OK for me. We do have a worse outlook for this year, but the stock has fallen in line with that. If the company has lower EPS and sales, it can't go to a new high. Or actually it can, but we understand each other😁

The Home Depot $HD2.6% reported results this week, with sales of $37.7 billion. That's a 3% drop compared to the previous year. I had the company in my portfolio earlier and I'm glad I sold its stock in the end. How do you feel about the company?
Home Depot reports results tomorrow and results are expected to be worse than the previous quarter. I consider this a quality company, but the stock price is expensive at the moment.

This week 8.5 - 12.5 we had some interesting companies reporting their quarterly results.
For my part, I can say that I was pleasantly surprised by $WMT2.2%, whose results nicely exceeded expectations. I don't own shares of $WMT2.2% yet, but I would like to buy a few shares, but the share price would have to come down.
