I don't have OXY shares in my portfolio and probably don't want to include them in my portfolio. However, I have been eyeing $CVX+1.0% stock lately.
Which companies will you be following this week? I've got a few on there - $CVS+0.8%, $PFE+0.4%. $AAPL-0.1%, $OXY+0.1%.
I came across this nice chart yesterday that shows us that the energy sector is the cheapest sector relative to profitability. It also generates the largest amount of cashe. Healthcare doesn't look bad either.

Unfortunately, oil will always be needed, but it could be significantly less.
Why do the research when someone else can do it better for you?
Berkshire Hathaway has been buying large quantities of $OXY+0.1% for almost a year at a price of around $60. Despite these purchases, the stock price hasn't moved anywhere and is at similar levels.
Such purchases indicate to me that Berkshire has confidence in Occidental Petroleum, so why shouldn't I?

Well, I'll admit I was the poster child in the Buffett lover's world, watching the portfolio and including it in mine. But I'm not buying anymore, I agree that companies are not doing much, it's still going sideways and there are a lot of commodity companies on the market. I'm not saying it's bad, but really not much so far.
Today I'm interested in $O+0.5% I'm in the plus there, but I'd still like to buy more so I wouldn't be angry about the reduction. I think there's still a little time for this sector because I think interest rates will be up for a while. Next $WBD+10.8% $MPW+13.8% $PLUG+1.0%...all losing and I'd like to hear a good outlook. 😊
