A nice +5% on $TSM+3.0% today, and that's basically nothing happened. I just read that Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida plans to meet with top executives of global semiconductor companies to boost multilateral cooperation.

Prior to Matsuno's comments, two people involved in planning the meeting said Kishida would meet with executives from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) and six other chip companies to seek active investment in Japan and closer cooperation with Japanese companies.

Is anyone here holding $TSM+3.0% stock or are you worried about China?

I'm holding for a $74.83 buy, but a smaller position a few %. With China I don't know and I'm spooked by the Omaha oracle. But it would be great if they branched out more into Japan or elsewhere in Asia.

I hold the stock and this makes me very happy. I was just looking to see what's behind such growth, thanks so much for the information! I've been thinking for a while that investors like the fact that Berkshire got rid of their entire stake...:)

I'm holding and happy 👍

I'm afraid I don't.

So great, the stock I had, a little bit in the green but I'm sold as even Buffett walked away from it, I don't just follow him but still, I follow him and I thought, there's something to this. Well, anyway, but so cool to those still holding. You think it's only gonna get better in China?

I think there is a TSMC/Sony collaboration going on there and they are planning 2 more fabs for 12/16nm and 10/5nm. I'm not so worried about China, it's dependent on their chips itself.
