What do you think about the Alphabet $GOOGL results? Satisfaction for me 👇
Bulios Flash News: Google beat market expectations and reported earnings per share of $1.44 for the quarter, compared to expectations of $1.32. Revenues came in at $74.6 billion, also topping estimates of $72.8 billion.
Thus, $GOOGL stock gained more than +6% after the market closed, so we finally have a long-awaited move to the upside.
The results are great and since I have $GOOGL stock in my portfolio, Google makes me happy.
The results are a blast. I don't think we'll go below $115 now.
I was expecting it too, I would rather slap myself for not going into the trader after all, I was thinking of speculatively buying something tonight and selling today. Otherwise I'm holding a long term position with a buy below around $96 and am very happy. Even though it's not as much of a "rocket" as other big tech has been right now, I think they'll just always be there, if only just as YouTube was mentioned, it's a really powerful tool that's used by just about everyone with a net connection. The results from it are great.
Beautiful numbers, Google just knows how to do it
I love their Google bard and the fact that we finally have him here too :)
I'm not too surprised, I was expecting something similar. I was more puzzled by Microsoft's slump, but so what, I needed to buy anyway :))
My jaw is still dropping from the way this whole YouTube thing turned out. Google bought YouTube for $1.65 billion in October 2006. And YouTube alone generated $7.7 billion in revenue from advertising in Q2 2023.
