Shares of $WBD are down over 60% in the last 5 years and down over 14% in the last year. When I looked more closely at this company, I didn't even find it as bad as some investors claim. However, I don't think I want to invest in it and prefer $DIS stock .

What is your opinion on this company and do you have shares of this company in your portfolio?

A lot of the talk around me lately has been $DIS vs $NFLX, which one has more investment potential. But today I was surprised to see that Amazon Prime Video is number one in the US with 21% of the market, while Netflix has 20%. $AMZN is just going.

Shares of $DIS are down over 30% in the last five years, which I and I believe other investors don't like. But somehow I still believe that the stock will recover and start rising again. I may buy a little more this week and then wait to see how the share price develops.

How do you see the $DIS? :D Poor Disney has been suffering for quite a long time and although I wanted to invest in it a few months ago, in retrospect I'm rather glad I didn't.

However, the price tag really doesn't let me sleep. We are at 2014 prices! The company is definitely further along than 2014 for me. A tempting offer or a continued decline? How do you see it? :)

What do you think about the goings-on with Disney and Charter? I'm not totally into it, but I know it was moving the market and streaming companies on Friday. I didn't take the time to look up how much Disney $DIS profits through Charter, and Charter pays Disney $2.2 billion a year in programming fees alone.

What two companies would you recommend to a novice investor at this time? Obviously $GOOGL $AAPL etc is great, but those are at a great price right now. I say maybe $O might be a nice buy right now, or even $DIS.

I noticed that the $DIS subscription system is about to change. Making it more expensive and removing account sharing, do you think this will lead to an exodus of users?

To follow up on my post yesterday - AI and Disney $DIS results.

According to the results released for the second quarter of fiscal year 2023, The Walt Disney Company posted a 4% year-over-year increase in revenue to $22.3 billion (narrowly missing estimates). Net income per share excluding extraordinary items was $1.03, down 6% from $1.09 last year.

AI sees it clearly with Disney's $DIS results, saying it has as much as a 77% chance of beating EPS estimates, while giving "only" a 37% chance of beating on revenue.

The consensus revenue figure is set at $22.44 billion, suggesting a 4.34% growth from the previous quarter. For EPS, they are counting on $0.99.
