Shares of $F have gone up since the beginning of June. Likely due to the deal with $TSLA to co-opt Tesla Superchargers. They don't strike me as relevant EV competition yet. How do you see it?
They've fallen far behind in electromobility. They are selling most electric models at a loss. I'm sure it will turn around, but it will take time. The competition is very strong.
Hyundai is next considering joining Tesla's North American Charging Standards Alliance $TSLA. My guess is that every EV manufacturer with any sense will end up in that alliance sooner or later.
Ford will switch to Tesla's plug-in hybrids, and by 2025, next-generation Ford vehicles will be able to use a very large network of superchargers. Current models will require the use of an adapter. So Ford won't have to build its own network.
