Does anyone have telecom stocks in their portfolio? If so, why?

I'm familiar with stocks like $VZ, $T, and $TMUS, but I don't think they are very interesting investments. The main growth has already passed these companies and apart from a decent dividend I find them uninteresting and often loss making.

💡 Comcast is expecting bad times!

Shares of Comcast $CMCSA experienced a significant shakeout last week, falling nearly 10 %. Management announced that it expects a decline of more than 100,000 broadband subscribers in Q4 . That's well above the consensus estimate of analysts, who had predicted a loss of around 63,300 customers. 📊

Yesterday I mentioned $TMUS stock here and following that I would like to ask you for your opinion on the company and Vodafone stock.

The company does pay a very nice dividend, but $VOD stock has been declining for a long time and I don't like that at all and I would not include the stock in my portfolio.

T-mobile recently partnered with SpaceX and $TMUS stock has been rising pretty solidly over the past year. This collaboration could bring more profits to T-mobile and the company could do better. Plus, the stock price right now is not a bad buy for me at all.

I was quite surprised by $TMUS. According to the results this quarter, it outperformed other operators in customer and revenue growth. How do you view the stocks of mobile providers? There are a lot of brands in the market, but $TMUS and $VZ have something extra.

T-mobile is up quite a bit right now and is holding its stock valuation with steady results. Margins may not be that great, but the interesting thing is that almost 42% of the company is privately held. Do you have any shares from this sector?
