In other news from last week...
Popular fast-food chain Wendy's $WEN has teamed up with Google to replace a human at one of its restaurants with an AI chatbot that now takes orders. Testing showed that the AI performed well and even did a better job than a human.
It's nothing revolutionary, but it's another of many examples of using AI to increase efficiency and make work easier...

Do we have any $WEN fans here?

This sounds like a great use to me! Let's not kid ourselves, these kind of jobs are the first to go. If by chance the AI makes a "mistake", worst case scenario we get Fanta instead of Sprite... that's a reasonable price for "automation" for me :)

I'm just surprised it was Wendys and Google that blew the whistle... Where's Mcdonalds, KFC, etc.? :)

I did get a chance to visit Wendy's and would appreciate it if this chain was in our area. I liked it better than MCD, BK and others. 😁

Great, so small steps to the top as they say. In our old age, AI will be commonplace everywhere. Now the question is, is that a good thing or not? :)

Maybe a little bit at the expense of the moral point of view, but it wouldn't make sense not to use it when you can.

Interesting... well if someone took the time to do an analysis of $WEN what was behind the drop from 2006-2009 and other things plus the opinion itself it would be good too. Plus it's not even here yet. :) Maybe as pure speculation that it will turn out to be another fast food like KFC,MCD.... :D

I'm sure it's worth it. I don't know if it will turn out to be a second MCD, but it's a great restaurant. At the same time, the share price can be much better compared to MCD where you're already paying a premium.
