I was wondering what stocks you bought and sold last time and if so why.
I last bought $MMM as the stock dropped below $100, however this is a stock I normally buy every month as well. I have also been buying shares of $DIS as it is at a nice price and I also see potential in this company.
As far as selling goes, I recently sold a few shares of... Read more
I see this $MMM is very much on course as it went under $100. It's a nice price for a company like that, but I'm still scared of the lawsuits they have and the general nature of them. It's no small thing and the question is, when everything "dies down" will they not continue to incur such damage to their production? ... Otherwise $DIS I also bought in this period and then reits, $O, $WPC...the sale has been made except $PBR total is climbing now and I will wait with this company then again if it doesn't fall.
I've seen a documentary on Netflix with this company (I don't remember the name so I don't know if that's it), but I wouldn't go for it either, although maybe the gaming industry like $ATVI or $EA might not be bad. But the documentary was about a demonstration of price manipulation so that seems risky to me.
This European company focuses on the manufacture of advanced lithography equipment used to produce semiconductors.
Their main product is EUV lithography systems that create small and precise structures on semiconductor chips. These systems are then used to produce advanced and powerful chips that are used in computers, mobile phones, etc.
I'm surprised the company hasn't gotten to me yet. I've seen Ticker, otherwise no idea what he's doing. I'll definitely check it out again in the future when it might be at a slightly nicer price. 👍
Shoes aren't my thing either and I'm just following this company from afar, but it has a nice discount. A competitive advantage like Nike has is always good for a portfolio, but I don't have room for this stock right now.
I've been interested in the healthcare sector quite a bit lately. Because I see a lot of potential in it.
Medicine in general has made huge strides recently, whether it's the production of weight loss drugs, for example, or the production of robots for surgery.
I have $JNJ and $CVS in my portfolio so far, but I'm still thinking about $MDT, which is the company that... Read more
I recently wrote a status here about fundamental analysis, which also includes management.
For me, management is very important in fundamental analysis. Because management decides what will happen to the company or, for example, what dividend will be paid and they can also partly influence the development of the share price by their actions.
Management is quite important to me, I like to see competent people with some history. That's why I'm not afraid of Tesla. I have a lot of confidence in Musk, no matter how controversial he is.
For me, these two stocks are on a high so far. However, when the time comes I would like to buy a few shares of either $KO or $PEP.
I've been looking at their financial statements and they look very similar and nice to me. I have to say that I like $PEP better on some items and with the rise in share price, $PEP is also doing better.
This week 8.5 - 12.5 we had some interesting companies reporting their quarterly results.
For my part, I can say that I was pleasantly surprised by $WMT, whose results nicely exceeded expectations. I don't own shares of $WMT yet, but I would like to buy a few shares, but the share price would have to come down.
This company reported its quarterly results yesterday.
