Warren Buffett comments on the US credit rating downgrade 👇
"There are some things people shouldn't worry about," he said. "This is one of them."
Buffett said: We bought $10 billion of Treasuries this Monday. And the only question for next Monday is whether we buy three-month or six-month $10 billion Treasury bonds.
Ratings firm Fitch said on Tuesday: We expect fiscal...

"There are some things people shouldn't worry about," he said. "This is one of them."... this is pretty cool :) Buffett's definitely a cool guy, but I find him pretty arrogant at times...
Electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer $NIO+12.8% seems to be enjoying the fruits of a particularly generous Chinese government of late. China's National Development and Reform Commission "urged local governments to ease restrictions on car purchases and introduce measures to encourage new car purchases."
Which companies will you be following this week? I've got a few on there - $CVS+4.1%, $PFE+0.4%. $AAPL+0.1%, $OXY+2.2%.
Today we'll take a look at the latest news and updates on Nio $NIO+12.8%, as the last month has been more than just a good one for Nio investors (+52%).
- Another catalyst for the stock's rise is Tim Hsiao, a Morgan Stanley analyst who takes a more bullish approach to Nio stock. Hsiao raised his price target on Nio stock to $18.70 from $12 ->I like this one a lot
NIO Europe now has 21 battery swap stations $NIO-0.5%. ->not so much because it's woefully short...
Union Pacific's results are one big unknown for me 😀 The company missed revenue and earnings per share estimates, yet the stock is up over 8% in premarket trading (I'm not mad 😀 ) . But for many, it may be significant that the CEO is leaving the company after 8 years.
What do you think about the Alphabet $GOOGL+0.7% results? Satisfaction for me 👇
Bulios Flash News: Google beat market expectations and reported earnings per share of $1.44 for the quarter, compared to expectations of $1.32. Revenues came in at $74.6 billion, also topping estimates of $72.8 billion.
...The results are great and since I have $GOOGL+0.7% stock in my portfolio, Google makes me happy.
So I finally found the reason for yesterday's rise in Nio $NIO....+12.8% In a bid to revive its lagging economy, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the government agency responsible for economic development in China, has said it is keen to bring in private capital to help in the development of major projects across the country, including EV and...

I'm a silent observer, somehow I'm not interested in the country of origin:) but otherwise I'm rooting for them
So investors, whose results will you be interested in this week? I think there's something for everyone 😄 For me, I think every day will be interesting, but I'm mostly focused on 3M $MMM-1.5%, Google $GOOGL+0.7% and $UNP+0.4%.
I am interested in the results of several companies, but I am especially interested in the results of $GOOGL+0.7%, $MSFT-0.8%, $V+1.3%, $KO+0.5%, $META+0.1%, $MCD+0.0%, $CVX+2.5% and also $PG+0.2%.
Disney $DIS+0.9%, which owns the ESPN television station, has held initial discussions about strategic partnerships with the NBA and NFL. These partnerships could mean that the sports leagues will acquire an ownership stake in ESPN.
Interesting information and I didn't even know about this, however I recently bought $DIS+0.9% stock and thus this information makes me happy.
What do you think of yesterday's drop in $TSM-4.7% stock? Are you buying? There may have been better buying this year, but 5% down is not a bad thing. I saw that even Cathie Wood and Ark Invest immediately bought 28,909 shares of Taiwan Semiconductor.
Drugmaker Pfizer $PFEsaid+0.4%its North Carolina plant, one of the largest sterile injectable manufacturing facilities in the world, suffered severe damage from a tornado... Hopefully this will only be a short-term problem, as this plant produces nearly 30% of the company's sterile injectables.
The stock hasn't reacted to the news yet, so we don't have a chance to buy.
Interesting I didn't even know about that. I have been looking at this company and plan to buy its stock next week.
I know that many of you may find the declines in $T+1.2% and $VZ+0.6% in recent days tempting given the dividend, etc., but while I don't want to advise anyone, I would be very cautious here and think twice about this investment. Why?
Warren Buffett (Berkshire Hathaway $BRK-B+0.7%) sold 70% of his investment in Activision Blizzard $ATVI+0.1% in the second quarter, and appears to have lost some of the gains as a federal judge said Microsoft can complete its $68.7 billion acquisition of the video game maker.
Maybe they have some more information we don't know about. Personally, I'd like to see $MSFT-0.8% make the acquisition.
We haven't talked about Russia and the economy or stocks for a long time. I know there were a few people who owned stocks. Do you still have them? It's just that I came across an interesting article about how their economy is slowly going down the tubes, so if any brave souls still own them.
Here's a little summary of the state of Russia's economy 👇
1. Ruble in free fall

Great thanks for the recap. This is exactly the information in a few sentences that I needed to get some idea of where Russia stands.
Otherwise the sentence " clear sanctions don't work, wink😉" is great😁.
It's growing incredibly and it makes me happy, but I would be happier if I had AMZN stock in my poetfolio :D
