Bill Combs
Waste Management
This company specializes in waste collection, treatment, disposal and recycling and is one of the largest waste management companies in the US.
Overall, I see potential with this company as people will produce trash all the time and I like that this company focuses quite a bit on recycling as well.

I'm starting to like this company a lot too. I registered it when it was somewhere around about $150, but my attention was pulled elsewhere at the time, big shame. I think about what you write and the truth is that unfortunately man produces an infinite amount of waste and so the byznis it will always be big and the more greedy man is to be a consumer, the more waste he leaves behind. Plus the fact that they recycle and then turn it into energy, so with the development of technology to make it as green as possible I see a future in that too, making energy from waste. As you say though, a lower price would be a hell of a lot better, it's pretty near the top now.

Stocks from the banking sector are not as stable, but I see potential here.
I was looking at $BAC stock today and I see that the stock is really low right now. I plan to do some more detailed analysis on $BAC, however the price is low and unless I come across something I don't like, I would definitely buy a few shares.

I don't have individual ones, I follow ETFko but I haven't investigated this closely yet. But even Buffett is already pretty bullish on it so the potential is definitely there, but I'm still of the opinion that if I could, I'd go more into India.

I just had them in a post the other day, disregarding the moral aspect, the dividend more than great and hopefully I never had a red position with BTI.

So how is it growing? I just did a quick scan of some data and the balance sheet looks good. P/S and P/B too, but the banks are going off on me.
Part of my portfolio is $MO stock.
Overall, I think tobacco company stocks are a great investment for several reasons. Tobacco companies are usually financially stable and often pay a high dividend. Further, I think tobacco companies will continue to thrive as people will continue to smoke. The question is whether, for example, normal cigarettes will be replaced by a company...

These companies are just doing great business. Both $MO and $PM. They are actually such "immortal" companies since people will always buy their products.
